The Moon was high in the sky with Midnight staring up at it. He was standing atop the Kage's office, ready to leave once it was time. He had been preparing for this day. The day....that he would leave the village. He wondered if anyone would know, if anyone would care, if anyone would dare to try and stop him. A breeze blew by and his cloak rippled among the current. Moonlight shone through the opening in the front and glinted off of his kusarigama. He had an impassive face and was sitting. Midnight wasn't tense, nor was he nervous. He was excited with the thrill of a chase.
